About the Eclipses: After experiencing an annular solar eclipse on October 14, 2023, the region played center-stage for a total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024. While some eastern parts of Travis, Hays, Comal, and Bexar counties fall outside of the path of totality, their county’s western areas had a clear view, as will all the other counties of the Hill Country.
